David Blacker is a California State Bar Certified Family Law Specialist with 20 years of experience, focused on high asset cases and complex issues related to custody, parentage, and business valuation.
Since 2016, Dave has actively contributed to the California Chapter of the Association of the Family and Conciliation Courts (AFCC), serving as Conference Co-Chair for the 2020 and 2022 annual conferences, co-founder of the DEI Council, President-elect, and currently as President. He was also the President and Co-Founder of the Center for Separating and Divorcing Families, reflecting his ongoing commitment towards developing comprehensive, innovative, out-of-court solutions for families in transition. Dave is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers.
Dave’s additional roles have included volunteering as a Settlement Officer and Attorney for the Day in San Francisco Superior Court, teaching family law courses, and coaching high school mock trial students. Father of two college-aged children and a lifelong musician, traveler, and cook, he continues to blend his legal expertise with his personal interests. This integration of personal and professional experiences informs his empathetic and effective approach to family law.

Bonnie Jacobsen is a senior paralegal who has spent her 35-year career specializing in family law cases.
Prior to working with David Lawrence Blacker Family Law, Bonnie worked exclusively as a family law litigation paralegal. She also managed several small businesses prior to going into family law.
Bonnie is a member of the San Francisco Bar Association. She is a former board member of the San Francisco Paralegal Association and a founding member of the San Francisco Brown Bag Family Law Paralegal Group.
Bonnie is a graduate of the University of Phoenix. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems and a paralegal certificate. Bonnie maintains her paralegal status under Business and Professions code § 6450.
